This invention relates to centrally controlled door locking systems (especially vacuum operated systems) for automobiles, and in which the door latches (27) are each connected by a link member (25) to an actuator (11) for selectively locking and unlocking its associated vehicle door. The actuators (11) are all controlled in their respective lock/unlock conditions by a central electrical switch (62) operated by a key lock (61) connected to one of the actuators (11_) by its respective linkage member (25), which is utilised for operating the control switch. <IMAGE> |
