Gas-blast switch having a tubular support insulator (12) being supported on a support housing (11) at ground potential and supporting in turn at least one switching chamber (13) the inner spaces of the support housing (11), of the support insulator (12) and of the switching chamber (13) being totally enclosed but in flow communication with one another and containing a pressurized quenching gas, said switch having further a quenching gas heating device (27) at ground potential, the device being in flow communication with the switching chamber (13) via the support insulator (12), characterized in that a connection line (35) leading from the switching chamber (13) and positioned adjacent the support insulator (12) extends to the heating device (17). |
