PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive printing plate with superior printing resistance and adhesion of the image area by laminating on an Al plate with a composition consisting of a photosensitive diazo compound and a specified high molecular compound having a monomer unit contg. a free carboxylic acid group. CONSTITUTION:A support is coated with a layer of a composition based on a photosensitive diazo compound and a high molecular compound to obtain a photosensitive printing plate. The high molecular compound has 1-80mol% monomer units each contg. an aromatic hydroxyl group and 5-90mol% acrylate or methacrylate monomer in the molecular structure, and it has 10-200 acid value. An Al plate is polished, anodically oxidized, sealed with an aqueous soln. of sodium silicate, and used as the support. The monomer contg. an aromatic hydroxyl group includes N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acrylamide and o-, m- or p-hydroxystyrene. |
