PURPOSE:To obtain excellent picture without interference signal on playback picture, by taking the angle between the wide track head and narrow track head within around 9 degrees, on the rotary cylinder. CONSTITUTION:One head traces from the beginning to the end of the track 7 of a magnetic tape 8 in a half revolution of 0-180 deg.. One track has a half of the horizontal scanning lines, 525 lines, of television TV, and one revolution of the rotary cylinder 1 plays back one frame of TV screen. But, the number of scanning lines display on the TV screen is actually about 95%, and the rest 5% is appeared at the vertical blanking period. That is, by giving the playback signal component of the narrow head Hb running after the wide head HA into the reset 5%, unnecessary playback signal can be suppressed. This 5% corresponds to 9 deg. of the cylinder 1 for the revolution angle. Thus, by taking the angle between the wide and narrow heads as about 9 deg., the playback picture can be made good picture without interference signal. |
