PURPOSE:To obtain high density recording head, by bonding the substrates or blocks opposingly formed the magnetic substance layer and thin film conductor coil through the combination of the thin film forming method and the bonding method and providing the desired write-in/ readout gaps. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic substance layer 1 is formed on the substrate 2, an in- sulating layer 3 is formed on it, and a conductor coil 4 is formed on the layer 3. Further, after laminating the insulating layer, conductor coil layer 6 and insulating layer 7 in order, the two sheets provided with the magnetic substance layer 8 are opposingly formed with the adhesives (such as glass and epoxy system adhesives) 10 to form the write-in/readout gap width 9, and the magnetic recording medium plane of the gap 9 is wrapped. Thus, the head having 4-layer coils with two layered layers can be obtained with less number of lamination processes. |
