PURPOSE:To prevent the danger that naked eyes are irradiated with laser light generated when a plug is inserted or extracted, by providing a shielding member which opens and closes mechanically to slant according to the insertion or extraction of the plug. CONSTITUTION:In cavity part 25, shielding member 3 pivoted on shaft 5 supported in holes pierced in main body 21 and a cover respectively and having lower end surface 3 shielding the optical path of receptacle 8 while its upper part is in contact with stepped part 26 of main body 21 is equipped. At the side of guide part 23 of shielding member 3, curved slanting surface 32 projecting from its opening is formed further projecting from lower end surface 31 continuously. At the back surface side, compressed coil spring 4 is attached between the cavity part bottom surface of main body 21 and spot facings 33 and 27 and plug 1 is inserted into guide parts 23 and 24, so that until it comes into contact with slanting surface 32, the lower end surface of member 3 will stay shielding optical path 9. |
