PURPOSE:To enable an adequate volume of an active material to be packed in a punched grid, by pushing a tool into a hole made by punching a metal plate to make the hole to be widened, and by thus providing a projecting part around the hole. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate 1 made of a lead alloy is punched through pressing to make a hole 2, a barr 3 arising around the hole 2. A tool 4 having a circular end- surface, which has the same diameter as the hole 2 and widens to the other end, is pushed into the hole 2 from the side on which the barr 3 doesn't exist. The pushing of the tool 4 into the hole 2 widens the hole 2, the barr 3 becomes larger, and thus a required height of a projecting part 5 is provided around the hole 2. |
