PURPOSE:To obtain the proper quantity of atomizing and conduct effective cooling by a method wherein the transmittance of light in space into which a refrigerant is atomized is detected, and the quantity of the refrigerant atomized is adjusted by the detecting output. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a luminous instrument 9 by output from a power source 11 transmits space into which a refrigerant is atmoized from an atomizer 4. The quality of light received by means of a light receiver 10 depends upon the quantity of transmission. Electric signals from the light receiver 10 are amplified by means of an amplifier 12, a regulating valve 8 such as a solenoid valve mounted to a piping 7 is actuated by using a controller 13, and the quantity of the refrigerant flowing through the piping 7 is adjusted. That is, the quantity of the refrigerant jetted from the atomizer 4 can be adjusted by the quantity of light received by means of the light receiver 10, and the proper quantity of the refrigerant atomized is obtained. |
