<p>PURPOSE:To enable a reading period and a recording period of a recording signal to be laid on a top of another and to enable acceleration of a recording speed, by a method wherein, in a simultaneous driving type heat-sensitive recorder, a gate circuit is installed between a shift registor and a driving element. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal, which is transferred from a terminal 1 to a shift registor 2 and is read therein, is sent to a gate circuit 8 which is opened by means of a gate pulse (b) sent from a terminal 9 immediately after a transfer period T1 of the shift registor 2, and the recording signal is fed to a thyrister 7. This continues to selectively hold the thyrister 7 during only a period T2 and drives the heating resistance 4. After the period T2 has elapsed, a switch 10 is OFF, and the thyrister 7 turn off. Meanwhile, immediately after the recording signal is transferred to the thyrister 7 through a gate circuit 8, the shift registor reads a recording signal equivalent to a succeeding line, and a recording and a reading action are done parallel to each other.</p> |
