PURPOSE:To obtain a cord-shaped image reading and storing device optimum to a hard copy of an image by excluding an image output section and connecting data between a scanner section and a printer section through a storage section. CONSTITUTION:A portable card 1 containing an image read section 11, an image signal processing section 22 and a storage section 23 is provided. An image signal obtained by scanning an original is stored in the storage section 23 as image data and the image signal stored in the storage section 23 as required is read out, a scanner section(picture read section) 11 and a printer section(image output section) 40 are disconnected ant the scanner section is constituted as a card to enable to exclude the image output section 40. Thus, further small size and light weight are attained, sufficient porability is obtained and since the data connection between the scanner section 11 and the printer section 40 is implemented through the storage section 23, the hard copy of the image at a remote location from the image output device 40 is attained easily. |
