<p>PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition which hardly dries up even after removing the cap from the pen and exposing the marker tip to air for a long period and enables to continue the smooth marking, by adding specific ketone to a mixture composed mainly of a dye and an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A mixture composed of (A) 2-15wt% of a dye (oil-soluble dye or pigment soluble in organic solvent), (B) 40-90wt% of an organic solvent (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, etc.) and pref. (C) 3-15wt% of an oil-soluble resin (e.g. ester gum, phenolic resin, etc.), is compounded with (D) 0.05-15wt% of a ketone of formula R1COR2 (R1 and R2 are 10-22C alkyl), e.g. lauryl ketone, stearyl ketone, etc., and dissolved to obtain the objective composition. When the component (A) is a pigment, it is pref. a processed pigment surface-coated with a resin in view of the improvement in the dispersibility, etc.</p> |
