A light reflecting layer for a color diffusion transfer photographic system which comprises at least one compound represented by the general formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms, R2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and R3 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms or a benzyl group which may be substituted at the alpha -position.
