PURPOSE:To decide reliably in short time whether the cathode will show satisfiable characteristic or not, by performing the thermal processing in H2 gas containing H2O at the time point when a metal powder is burnt onto a basic metal and performing the decision of the characteristic. CONSTITUTION:At the time point when Ni powder is burnt onto a basic metal, thermal processing is performed in H2 gas containing H2O to decide whether Ni particle will exceed the deformation. The dew point of H2 employed in said thermal processing is made higher than -50 deg.C while the temperature range of the thermal processing is made in the range of 600-1,000 deg.C. Consequently it is decided reliably in short time whether the produced cathode will show satisfiable characteristic or not. |
