PURPOSE:To realize a long-time stability of measurements as well as enhance the general-purpose performance for a facsimile transmitter, by forming both the important structure part of an original feed mechanism and the optical scan system into a unit of unified frame. CONSTITUTION:The unified frame 44 is set fixedly onto the base board 41 via the L-shaped attachment metal fittings 42. The illumination source 62 is provided at the light source attachment notch parts 45 and 45' of the frame 44, and the main rollers 63 and 64 are installed at the notch parts 46, 46', 47 and 47' to lead an original. The drive motor 65 is attached inside one of the side plate of the frame 44, and the belt 69 is hooked over the pulleys 66, 67 and 18 each. Both the bracket 71 supporting the solid state scan element circuit unit 70 and the lens 72 are attached to the back plate 44c of the frame 44. In such a way, the important part of the original feed mechanism and the optical scan system are formed into a unit. Thus a facsimile transmitter is obtained with a high accuracy of measurements plus an excellent general-purpose performance. |
