<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the output of a generator at a rated output by controlling the inclination of wings by additionally operating successively stronger springs with the increase in the wind velocity. CONSTITUTION:The left end of a spring Sa is fitted to the side of a wing plate F and its right end is fitted so that a sliding bar can be slided over the left end of a spring Sb. This sliding bar is fitted with stopping members R1 and R2, and the extension of the weaker spring is stopped at one of these positions so that the force of the stronger spring can be utilized from this point. That is, when the inclination is phitau, the spring Sa is set at a tensile strength Ps which is balanced at the wind velocity qtau, and when the wind velocity increases more than the value qtau, the interval between the fitting points F and S is extended. When the right end of the spring Sa and the left end of the spring Sb reach a stopping member R1, the extension of the spring Sa is stopped. Thereafter, the springs Sb and Sc are extended. In this manner, by adding forces of successively stronger springs to the wind mill, the protection of the device at the time of overloading is performed.</p> |
