PURPOSE:To reduce electrode manufacturing man-hour and improve picture quality by enclosing the peripheral section of the mesh sheet of a mesh electrode with the mesh cap ring peripheral section. CONSTITUTION:The central section of a mesh cap ring 20 is cylindrically penetrated. Its peripheral section 20a is bent in the direction of a mesh support electrode 6d by approximately 90 deg. and inserted and secured in the mesh support electrode 6d so as to enclose the peripheral section 6b' of a mesh sheet 6b. In this case, by slightly increasing the inner diameter d2 of the mesh support ring 20 against the outer diameter d1 of the mesh support ring 6a, the centering of the ring 6a, sheet 6b, and the cap ring 20 is not required. Since spot welding is enabled by subsequently setting these, the assembling man-hour can be reduced and picture quality be sharply improved. |
