PURPOSE:To prevent a ceramic pin from being cracked by making the shape of a panel pin form a small tapered conical trapezoid at the lower part near the inner surface of the panel skirt and a large tapered conical trapezoid or a hemisphere in its continuous tin side. CONSTITUTION:Trace L drawn when a mask is removed changes the shape of the upper half part of a panel pin so that the end of a mask spring may not collide with that of the panel pin. This permits a ceramic panel pin to be formed into a compound shape consisting of small tapered lower conical trapezoid B and large tapered upper conical trapezoid T1 or upper hemisphere T2. As a result, the mask spring can fully prevent the pin from being cracked without colliding with the panel pin end and improve the yield of a picture tube which uses the ceramic panel pin. |
