PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in molecular weight of an activating factor, by recovering a plasminogen activating factor of specific molecular weight at a specified electric conductivity of a solution through the dialytic, gel filtration method, etc. CONSTITUTION:One or two or more types of inorganic salts, e.g. NaH2PO4, KCl, NaCl or MgSO4, are added to a culture fluid obtained by cultivating a cell originating from a human kidney to keep the electric conductivity of the solution at 45mv/ cm or higher in the recovering step of a plasminogen activating factor. The recovering process comprises steps of dialysis, concentration, gel filtration or adsorption with acrylonitrile-methyl acrylate copolymer or a combined step thereof. According to the method, the plasminogen activating factor of 45,000-68,000mol.wt. can be recovered. |
