RESTORING METHOD OF ANALOG SIGNAL BY TRANSMISSION WITH OPTICAL SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To realize a compensation for the effect of a temperature drift or a loss of the transmission system even for a bipolar signal, by using the square difference between the analog and digital signals for the degree of compensation. CONSTITUTION:The transmission part 10 converts the supplied analog signal into an optical signal to deliver it to the optical fiber 16 as well as converts it into a frequency signal and then to an optical signal to deliver it to the optical fiber 17. The reception part 20 converts the optical signal transmitted through the fiber 16 into an electric signal and supplies it to the multiplier 23 to perform a multiplication of compensation by the output of the error amplifier 30. Thus the restored analog signal is delivered and at the same time supplied to the adder 28 via the inverter 26 as well as to the adder 27. On the other hand, the optical signal transmitted by the fiber 17 is converted into an electric signal and then into an analog signal to be supplied to the adders 27 and 28. The outputs of both adders are put into the multiplier 29 to obtain a square difference. This square difference is amplified through the error amplifier 30 and supplied to the multiplier 23.
