METHOD FOR ADJUSTING DEFLECTING POSITION IN MULTINOZZLE DEFLECTION CONTROL INK JET RECORDING

PURPOSE:To adjust and set the printing position of ink jetted from each ink jet port independently and electrically by independently adjusting to high or low a charging voltage applied to each of the charging electrodes provided correspondingly to each of the ink jet ports. CONSTITUTION:To ink jetted from plural ink jet ports 14aj, charging voltages of levels correlated selectively with printing positions corresponding to picture signals are applied by charging electrodes 20aj. When a position printed by an ink jet port 2 is shifted toward the recording range of a nozzle 3, a charge quantity or a charging voltage to ink jetted from a nozzle 1 is increased all over and a charge quantity (charging voltage) to ink jetted from a nozle 2 is decreased all over to shift the recording range of the nozzle 1 towards the recording range of the nozzle 2 and also to shift the recording range of the nozzle 2 towards that of the nozzle 1 so as to eliminate a white line and a black line.
