<p>Sepn.jet module for the sepn. of gas or vapour mixts. of different mol. wt., e.g. of uranium isotope mixts., is a hexagonal tube, consisting of three components, an inlet chamber for the initial gas mixt., an outlet chamber for the heavy fraction, and a central section. The latter includes extruded straps with cut-outs for the dovetail jet bars. The straps are so arranged that each of the light fractions flows into a common space; the first light fraction is extracted from a space between a partition and a plate above the jet module, the second light fraction from the space surrounding the module, and the heavy fraction from the space above the plate. Module accommodates an optimum length of sepn. zone within a min. of vol., for a simple jet as well as for the double deflection jet arrangement.</p> |
