A coin wrapper comprises a jacket 1, formed as a truncated cone with a stiff bottom disc 2 at its narrow end, the jacket being of thin flexible paper 3 over only a portion of the circumference of the jacket 1 with the remaining portion being formed by a transparent strip 6, which joins the two longitudinal paper edges 4, 5 so as to form a window. The bottom disc 2 is made of or coated with heat- sealable material and has holes to prevent stacked wrappers from sticking together due to underpressure between the bottoms. As a tear aid, a grip tab 7 can be punched in the upper end of the transparent strip 6. Said strip can also be perforated for facilitating opening. Alternatively, a tear strip or string can be incorporated e.g. between an edge of the transparent strip and one of the paper edges 4 and 5. <IMAGE> |
