PURPOSE:To prevent surely the occurrence of abnormal data in case of asychronous connection of a different kind of PCM signal, by using the timing signal led out from the PCM reproducing signal and the error detection output to inhibit data transmission. CONSTITUTION:The signal processing device performs the interleave processing of the PCM signal and transmits the signal having the error detecting signal and the data break section at every prescribed period and performs the deinterleave processing of the signal from the VTR to correct errors. In receiving of the asynchronous PCM signal accompanied with the operation of the switch of the VTR, timing signal WGP synchronized with the data section of the PCM signal and the data break section in a prescribed section after the receiving time is formed in 41. Signal WGP and the result of error detection 30 are compared with each other in 37, and signal WGP and the signal indicating the data break section are compared with each other in 36. On a basis of these comparison results, muting operation 43 are controlled to prevented the occurrence of abnormal data. |
