<p>The valve is downstream of a throttle valve and consists of a casing (1) with an orifice (1a) in the wall (1b) which divides the casing into two chambers (1c,d).It produces an air flow to reduce the vacuum in the inlet manifold. An 'O' ring is mounted on a valve (5) controlled by a spring (4). The top of the valve has two arms (5d) with lugs (5f) catching the ring (5g) acting under the spring (10). The valve has an adjustable return spring (11) controlled by a screw (6).</p> |
