The hinged joint is attached to the beam (5) and consists of a through pin (14) supported by welded bearing pads (9) on either side of the beam. The pin supports the two brackets (8) which are D-shaped and connect with the eye (29) at the end of the hydraulic cylinder rod. The eye is located by a cotter pin (24). The hydraulic piston (28) is double acting in the cylinder (27) which is fixed to the frame. The joint is supplied with a hydraulic cylinder at each end of the supporting pin.
