PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive heat-sensitive recording member easy to manufacture and superior to a conventional one in photosensitivity and image clearness by adding a Co(III) complex, a specified reducing agent, a hydrogen donor and a xanthene dye. CONSTITUTION:On a support a photosensitive heat-sensitive recording layer is formed contg. a CO(III) ammine complex or a CO(III) amine complex, quinone which is converted into a reducing agent for reducing the complex by the action of a hydrogen donor when irradiated with visible light, the above-mentioned donor such as polyethylene glycol and rose bengal as a xanthene dye. Thus, superior photosensitivity and heat sensitivity are obtd. By further adding a chelating agent such as a nitrosoarol chelate compound, the chain reaction of the photoreducing agent and the complex is accelerated to increase the photosensitivity. |
