<p>Agent for increasing the octane number of gasoline. The agent is a reaction product between iron pentacarbonyl, one or more aliphatic di- and/or polyketones, one or more esters of aliphatic ketocarboxylic acids, one or more esters of orthophosphoric acid with aliphatic alcohol, and one or more esters of acetic acid with aliphatic alcohol. The invention also relates to a process of preparing the agent, the components being mixed and stored under access of air and ultraviolet light. </p> |
