<p>The ejector consists of a plate carrying several ejector rods which drive castings or mouldings out of a die. The piston rod of a work cylinder is used to drive plate via a connecting rod, when the die is open. Rod pref. consists of a single bolt joined to an adjusting screw via a coupling. Coupling pref. consists of two half rings joined together by a bolt and nut to clamp the adjacent ends of bolt and screw. The elector rods are always completely retracted before the die is re-closed.</p> |
