<p>The honeycomb-shaped lattice coiling is easy to produce and instal, and is of attractive appearance. Individual honeycomb elements are bent out from sheet metal strips. The points of these are flattened off to small flat surfaces, connected to the corresponding ones on adjacent elements so as to produce a honeycomb pattern. The strips have cut-in pieces (10) or bordering pleats (9) for insertion or clamping of connecting rails (11,12) to stiffen and suspend the grid. Adjacent surfaces may be riveted, welded or screwed together.</p> |
