PURPOSE:To increase the resistance between electrodes of the acoustic electric transducer to enlarge the output of this transducer, by sticking the layer comprising selenium and tellurium as components to the surface of powdery particles to constitute powdery particles for acoustic electric transducer. CONSTITUTION:If the ratio of selenium to tellurium stuck to the surface of carbon powdery particles is 1:0, 1:1, and 0:1, the resistance between electrodes of the acoustic electric transducer is 500OMEGA, 200OMEGA and 50OMEGA respectively and is larger than conventional 40OMEGA obtained by using exclusively carbon powdery particles, and the characteristic of output P for DC bias current I is I1, I2 and I3 respectively and is sufficiently larger than conventional characteristic I0. A proper mixture ratio of selenium vapor and tellurium vapor is entered into the quartz ampul, and carbon powdery particles are entered further, and they are cooled to stick the selenium- tellurium layer to the surface of carbon powdery particles, thereby producing powdery particles for acoustic electric transducer. |
