<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the imbalance of force caused by reciprocating piston movement, by tilting a rotor against a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:As a driving shaft 4 is turned by a driving gear, a cylinder block 11 follows the revolution to shift externally pistons 21 and shoes 22 by virtue of centrifugal force and press the shoes 22 to the internal surface of a rotor 24. Since the rotor 24 is tilted, each piston 21 repeats the strokes of suction and discharge twice in a cylinder bore 12 while the driving shaft 4 and cylinder block 11 make a turn together. Disposition of cylinders at equal angular distances around the axis of driving shaft 4 can reduce the imbalance of force working on the driving shaft 4 and rotor 24 and their symmetrical disposition around the axis can theoretically render the imbalance of force in the right direction to zero.</p> |
