PURPOSE:To enable even ordinary people to make transaction operation by envelopes with ease and prevent the flatness of the contents from being damaged at the time of automatically printing characters on the envelope by changing the shape of an envelope as a transaction medium and the shape of a handling port which accepts the envelope. CONSTITUTION:A handling port 11 which accepts an envelope A as a transaction medium containing bank notes or transaction materials other than bank notes is disposed to the front of an automatic currency transaction apparatus aside from a handling port for collective feeding of bank notes. This envelope A is beforehand formed with a glued falt lug part 84 to be printed on with necessary information (for example, marks such as bar codes) 82, and a cover part 75 which closes a content inlet 74. A receipt slip is connected via a cutting line to the cover part 75. A narrow slit part 11a corresponding to the lug part 84 of the envelope A is formed on the right side of the handling port 11 for insertion of said envelope A, so that the flat cover part 75 of the content inlet 74 may be inserted into the handling port 11 in an arrow direction, whereby the use of the other envelope A is detected with the bar codes 82 and the impairment of the flatness of the contents at the time of automatic printing on the envelope is prevented. |
