PURPOSE:To divide character matrix to two lines and enable them to be printed out by loading the scanning number per se and the scanning number of the lower line into a line buffer and printing control codes to the character codes to be divided and printed. CONSTITUTION:The scanning line number (n) of the 1st line in the 1st line buffer 1 is set in a scanning counter 5, and the scanning line number (m) of the 2nd line is added to a lower line register 6. A divided printing flag 7 is set at 1, and is added with character code printing control codes. Therefore, the output of an AND circuit 9 is 1, and a selector 13 selects the total of the values of the counter 5 and register 6 from an adder 12. When the scanning times of the buffer 1 reach (n), the counter 5 goes 0, and the scanning of the buffer 1 ends, then the scanning of the buffer 2 is started. At this time, scanning line number (m) is set in the counter 5, the register 6 is made 0, and the flag 7 is reset at 0. Hence, the output of the circuit 9 comes to 0, and the selector 13 selects the output of the counter 5. On completion of the (m)-th scanning, the scanning of the buffer 2 ends. |
