<p>The device is used on a site where there are a number of reactors and at least one building containing plant which is common to these reactors. The device comprises transfer and storage modules (44) for fuel assemblies, a system of tracks (7) for moving the modules between the reactors (1, 2, 3, 4) and the common plant (5), devices for handling the assemblies associated with each of the reactors (1, 2, 3 and 4) and at least one device for handling the new assemblies placed in the building (5) for the common plant.
