PURPOSE:To automatically register the merchandise having been stored in portable type memory packs, increase the processing capacity to customers and make the operation of the apparatus simple by providing a plurality of said packs that can store merchandise sales data by each unit article and further providing loading parts for said packs to an ECR. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 8 for inputting merchandise sales data, a display device 7, a connector 9 connecting to an ECR2, and a memory part which stores merchandise sales data by dividing these by each input are provided within a portable type memory pack 1 together with a CPU. Also, the memory pack loading 19, 20 into which the packs 1 can be mounted are provided to the front face of the ECR2, so that when the pack 1 is loaded to said loading part 19 or 20 the contents of the memory part of the pack 1 are automatically registered in the RAM of the ECR2 under the controlling of the CPU provided in the ECR2. In an arbitrary place, a checker stores the data of the sold merchandise into the pack 1, and the registration of the sales data is easily accomplished by the operator of the ECR2, whereby the processing capacity to constomers is increased. |
