STABILIZED BIOCHEMICAL PREPARATIONS, PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

"Stabilized biochemical preparations, preparation and use thereof". A stabilised, insolubilised biochemical preparation which comprises a biochemical material covalently bound to a silicic acid heteropolycondensate layer which in turn is applied to a mechanically stable support is disclosed. A process for the preparation of such a biochemical preparation which comprises preparing a silicic acid heteropolycondensate, applying it to a stable support and coupling the biochemical material thereto, optionally following an after-treatment is also disclosed.
