PURPOSE:To improve a mechanical internal loss and a sound speed for a speaker diaphragm, by producing a diaphragm by impregnating a coating material containing foaming plastic into the unwoven fabric in which the mutual contact of fibers are connected through the fusion and caking of the fiber itself. CONSTITUTION:A coating material containing the foamig plastic is impregnated into the unwoven fabric 3 composed of the aromatic polyamide. Then this fabric is made to pass through between the rolls 1 and 2 to ensure a sufficient impregnation of the impregnant into the fabric. After this, a drying process is given to obtain the prepreg plate 8 for diaphragm. Said plate 8 is put between the moldes 9 and 10 with the heat applied to obtain a diaphragm. The diaprgam thus obtained has a density equivalent to the paper, the elastic modules of 2-3 times as high as the cone, the second speed of 1.7-2.3 times as high as the cone. |
