METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF DIRECT CURRENT TRANSMISSION VOLTAGE

PURPOSE:To eliminate need for a voltage divider used for measuring a direct current voltage and decrease floor area and cost by providing a surface electrometer sensor to the ground fitting of a through-bushing and measuring the DC voltage by the DC potential of a center conductor. CONSTITUTION:A surface electrometer sensor 14 is mounted to the inner side of a cylindrical ground fitting 9 of a gas insulation through-wall bushing 5 in order to measure the potential of a central conductor 12, and the output obtained from this is sent through a lead wire 15 to a measuring room or control room. In this measuring room, the potential of the central conductor 12 is measured with an analog or digital display device to measure the transmission and reception voltages.
