PURPOSE:To improve the withstanding voltage against local oscillating waves and to enhance reliability by closely arranging insulating collars on the central parts of the coil width of the coil surfaces of facing section coils, with oil paths being provided inbetween. CONSTITUTION:The coil surfaces of section coils 3-1 and 3-2, and section coils 3-3 and 3-4 which are ajacent to line terminals are opposing each other, with the oil paths 6 being provided inbetween. The insulating collars 11 are closely arranged on the coil surfaces at the approximately central part of the coil width D. The width of the insulating collar 11 approximately 1/2 the coil width D so as to securely insulate the region where the local oscillating waves are generated. Furthermore, the insulating collars are supported by slots 13 which are formed on the upper and bottom end surfaces of spacers 12 which form the oil parths 6 so as not to hinder the oil from flowing through the oil paths 6. In this constitution, the withstanding voltage against the local oscillating waves generated by the penetration of the lightening inpulses can be improved, and the reliability can be enhanced. |
