PURPOSE:To obtain a stopwatch which permits recognition of measurement contents by sounds by inputting the respective carry detection outputs of clocking counters to a buzzer sound selecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:An AND circuit 13 is controlled by a switch SA, so that the outputs of a frequency divider 11 are clocked by counters 18-25. The carry signals of the respective counters are detected by carry signal detecting circuits 19b- 24b, the respective detection outputs whereof are inputted to a buzzer signal selecting circuit 42 via a decoding part 41. A buzzer signal generating circuit 43 which generates buzzer sounds by obtaining the clock signal outputted from a bsic clock signal generating circuit 12 is connected to the circuit 42. Hence, every time when the carry signals to the counters 19-20, 20-21,...24-25 are detected by the detecting circuits 19b-24b, various buzzer sounds are selected by the circuit 42, and the buzzer sounds are announced by way of a buzzer sound driving circuit 44 and a buzzer 45, hence the time may be recognized by the buzzer sounds. |
