Title compds. (I; Y = phenyl, 2-furyl, tienyl, 1-tetrazolyl; Z = H, hydroxy, =NOCH3; V = H, methoxy; X = -OCONH2, 1H-tetrazolyl-2-thio, 1-thio-3,4-diazoly1-2-thio, 1-thio-3,4-diazoly1-5-methyl-thio) were manufd. by reacting cefamandole, cefuroxime, cefoxithin, ceftezol with 4% L-lysine and acetone at 0-5oC. Thus, 11.5g cefamandole was melted in 50ml methanol and mixed with 40% L-lysine and 200ml n-hexane to give 12.1g cefamandole lysine salts.
