The physical balancing exercising bench comprises a board (1) which is supported such that it is horizontally movable in two dimensions, e.g by suspending it from a ceiling beam via ropes (2,2',3,3'). The board may be supported via two cross-bars (4) each suspended (at 6) via a pair of ropes (2,2';3,3'). The bars (1) may be secured to the ropes via spring assemblies (5) providing a third degree of freedom. Each assembly (5) may contain springs with different spring rates and means to block the movement of any or all springs. The board may be formed by a standard "Swedish bench".
