Roller shutter consisting of flat hollow profile rods (1a to 1e), of which respectively two mutually adjacent rods are articulatingly connected to each other by extensions (13, 14), of which each projects at one (4) of the narrower long sides (4, 5) of a hollow profile rod, engaging through an aperture (9) of the adjacent narrower long side (5) of the other hollow profile rod into the cavity (24) therein and having in the cross-sectional plane of the hollow profile rods a hook-shaped curved end (14) which bears on the narrower long side (5) of this cavity (24) alongside the aperture (9) when the hollow profile rods are suspended one from another, the hook-shaped cross-sectionally forwardly at least partially tapered ends (14) of the extensions (13, 14) of the hollow profile rod (1b-1e) can be forced through the apertures (9) of the adjacent hollow profile rod (1a-1d) in a direction parallel with the broader long sides (6, 7) thereof, with an elastic widening-out of the apertures (9) or elastic deformation of the hook-shaped ends (14), characterised in that the narrower long sides (5) of the hollow profile rods, in which the apertures (9) are provided, are longitudinally slotted directly at the apertures (9) (slots 25), and in that the width of the slots (25) is smaller than the thickness of the extensions (13), and in that at least one of the wall parts of the broader long sides (6, 7) adjacent to these narrower long sides (5) is resiliently yielding.</p> |
