<p>PURPOSE:An anti-offset composition with stable dispersibility miscible with a printing ink, containing starch, a polyoxypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether and an amino group-contg. organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:30-230pts.wt. starch, 100pts.wt. polyoxypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether and 1-3.5wt%, based on said starch, amino group-contg. organopolysiloxane liquid at normal temp. are mixed. The amino group-contg. organopolysiloxane liquid at normal temp. is insoluble in the polyoxypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether, but it is possible to obtain a stable emulsion by mechanically mixing the both with forced agitation. In the emulsion, the starch is firmly combined with the amino group-contg. organopolysiloxane by mechanically forced agitation, and starch particles become hydrophobic and uniformly disperses in a dispersion medium to obtain a stable anti-offset composition.</p> |
