<p>A fluid level indicator for a reservoir of a dual circuit hydraulic braking system, the reservoir having two chambers A, B separated by a baffle 2, comprises a float 9 and a switch 6, 7 actuable by the float, the float having two hollow parts 10, 11 for insertion into the respective chambers A, B, the parts 10, 11 being connected together and communicating through a passage 12 and the lower ends of the float parts 10, 11 being open so that air in the float is pressurised upon insertion of the float into the previously filled reservoir and the float is responsive to a fall of fluid level in either chamber to actuate the switch. <IMAGE></p> |
