PURPOSE:To form a of a uniform groove width and depth on a lens edge surface by pressing right and left rotating rings against a lens and making their pressing directions face each other. CONSTITUTION:An H-type arm 8 which holds a lens 1 is equipped rotatably and slidably via two shafts 13 and 14. By pressing two right and left rotating rings 15 and 15' against the held lens 1 and handling the lens 1 and the H-type arm 8 so that the working directions of their pressure at that time may be opposite to each other, a groove with a uniform width and depth is formd on the edge surface of the lens 1 with a cutter 6. |
