The invention relates to a process for converting low-value heat energy into high-value heat energy, in particular for heating buildings and flats, by means of a heat pump. The water in the existing line system, e.g. for the water supply of a residential quarter, is channelled to a heat exchanger for heating a heat transfer medium, receiving the heat from the water, and back again to the line system. |
