PURPOSE:To increase the density of the carbon of a dry cell, by mixing an aggregate made of a high-purity graphite such as artificial graphite or petroleum coke with a binder such as pitch or tar by means of a kneading machine. CONSTITUTION:An aggregate made of a high-purity graphite such as artificial graphite or petroleum coke, and a binder such as pitch or tar are evenly mixed with a kneading machine. Following that, the mixture is molded into a bar by a well known method, before the bar is sintered. The former kneading machine is preferred to be constituted of a kneading container 2, and Z-form kneading blades 1 which is installed in the kneading container 2. |
