PURPOSE:To observe soft tissues of a human body or a distribution of deformation structure of metal in a good contrast by a method wherein scattering due to a diffraction reflecting the molcular and crystal structure of mass distributed in a body to be inspected is utilized. CONSTITUTION:When parallel and fine pencils of single color incidence X-rays transmit a body to be inspected 2, diffraction is generated in all parts of A and B where the pencils of rays transmit. A diffraction X-rays 5 passed through annular slits 6, 7 are detected through a detector 10 and enter a next device 11 wherein amplification, pulse height analysis, display and recording are performed. The size, position and width of annular slits 6, 7 are adjusted and decided so as to pass the strong diffraction X-rays of a selected substance. |
