<p>The heat recuperator consists of a reservoir (1) suspended by a chain (2) under the hood of the fireplace. A hot water storage cylinder (7) is installed behind the fireplace, on the other side of the wall, and contains a heat exchanger (6) so that the position of the heat exchanger is higher than that of the reservoir. The flow pipe (4) is taken from the top of the reservoir and the return (5) is reintroduced into the reservoir below the refrigerant level. The reservoir contains liquid refrigerant for just over half its depth. On heating, the refrigerant evaporator and the gas flows over the heat exchanger, condensing and returning to the reservoir.</p> |
